Does anyone else remember this? Specifically, the conga line of rowdy costumed folk.
It happened to me again today. Since it's almost a year to the day, I assumed I am now part of some grande educational institution's tradition.
Either I was running earlier or they were running later, since I met them in the Walk this time, which is some two blocks further on from Myers, where I encountered them last year. This time, they were (all of them - they hadn't acquired any normal ring-ins yet) be-toga-ed, one chap lagging behind as he tried to retie his at his shoulder. The chaps in the lead were singing a conga-ed up version of "Old McDonald had a Toga". ("With a toga toga here and a toga toga there! Here a toga, there a toga, everywhere a toga toga!")
I grinned for another block whole. After the week I've had, that was just about precisely what I needed. So to those people: pants off (sheets on). Too much metal for one hand. \mm/
