Death comes for us all (a melodramatic haiku of retirement)
Alas! this blog is

guts and garters

It's all fun and games until someone loses molecular cohesion.

It's no real secret that I am endlessly enchanted by the power of random. I like things that make you wonder, or laugh in the street, or shake your head. I like deviations from the mundane. (See also costumed conga lines through Myers, and the lads in the line in front of me at the supermarket last night, flicking through Cosmo and talking about how Giselle Bundchen was their ex-girlfriend.)

This, as Afny said when he sent me the link, is my kind of weird. It's delightful and charming and possessed of that university-student mentality, wherein the effect achieved is worth excessive effort expended.

I'm just dreading it being some sort of marketing ploy, because sometimes it seems it's only the advertising executives of multi-nationals who have the creativity to pull this shit any more. And that is the saddest thing of all.
